If Putin destroys the infrastructure in Ukraine he destroys what he wants most from Ukraine, it's economy. The Russian economy outside of what the Russians can pull out of the ground, is ****. Sure NATO bugs Putin, but he knows that if he leaves his neighbors alone, he has nothing to fear from NATO. Without his control over the Ukraine economy, with Ukraine in the European Union, his people will finally get sick of the oligarchs feeding off of them like sharks in a frenzy, and looting the natural resources of the country.
